Jewish Legacy Tour *

1 day. Arrival at Vilnius. Cognitive trip through historical and Jewish Vilnius: Parliament, Gedimino avenue, Vilniaus University, Pilies street, St. Ann’s and Bernardines churches complex, great Synagogue, Tolerance Center, Lithuania’s Jewish community.

Stay at the hotel.

2 day. Breakfast. Jewish Vilnius: Jewish quarter, Jewish streets, former minor and great Vilniaus ghetto, National Vilnius Gaon Jewish museum, Vilnius ghetto theater (1942-1943), Vilnius rabbi seminary (1847-1873), gipsy printing-house, KGB museum.

Stay at the hotel.

3 day. Breakfast. Ride to Kaunas – second biggest city of Lithuania. Visiting: forts VII and IX – these are the places where thousands Jews from Lithuania, France and Germany have been killed. Journey continues to Slobodka (Vilijampolė) – a Jewish suburb before Second World War and ghetto’s place during WWII, ‘Great Move’, old Jewish cemetery, Synagogue and the memorial in it’s court in memoriam of kids.

4 day. Breakfast. Ride to Klaipėda – this, Lithuania’s third biggest city, standing on the meeting place of Curonian Bay and Baltic Sea, is a big, ice-free harbor. Cognitive excursion through Klaipėda’s old town: Old post and theater’s square – which is called city’s heart – Jewish cemetery, specific ‘wailing’ wall, Jewish community and museum.

5 day. Breakfast. A trip to Neringa – that masterpiece of wind and sea, a distinctive place of incredible beauty and uniqueness, for many centuries taken care of by human hand. Sightseeing: Nida lighthouse, Dead dunes, Curonian tongue’s national nature’s park museum, Witches hill, Parnidis Dune and sun clock-calendar. Return to Klaipėda.

6 day. Breakfast. Trip back to Vilnius. Free time.
